I’m a dabbler. I love to dabble. I sketch, sew, design, doodle. Some things I definitely do better than others. For example, my Photoshop skills are certainly better than my sketching skills. The good news is that they are also much more marketable in today’s economy. And if I’m being honest, I enjoy having the entire spectrum of colors at my fingertips in one single program.
I have designed logos and graphics for small companies and friends and of course myself. The collaboration that comes from helping you figure out the essence of your brand in a visual medium is incredibly rewarding and it’s always a blast to see the designs out in the world.
Perhaps the best part of doing graphic design is you notice it EVERYWHERE. Craft cider labels get dissected at the bar. Concert posters are analyzed for their use of empty space. And every picture in a magazine is scanned for signs of retouching (NOT hard to find these days…).
What I do specifically
My experience ranges from logo design & branding to book production, with book production being perhaps my favorite! I really try to get to know the brand (and you!) and what it stands for before heading to the drawing board. All products are digital and can be exported in multiple file formats. Graphics, invitations, and business cards are ready to print to scale. Happy to refer you to a company in your area than can print your items at a competitive price.

Retouching is actually a lot of fun for me. It was a necessary skill to learn during my time in the model-management industry. It’s not so much about making the image unrecognizable, but allowing the subject of the image to be shown in his/her/its best light. I’m not going to visually “lie” and make your picture look completely different, but I can remove those flaws that are bothering you so your image lives up to the picture you had in your mind. (High resolution files (+1MB) are required for this type of work.)
Business cards are definitely within my realm. If you do not have a brand/logo yet, please see options for logo & branding packages. If you’re just looking for a quick sampling, please include your current logo image (preferably hi-res), including hex-codes and typography for company colors.
Invitations and special events graphics include one-off designs for singular, one-time events.
